This quartet interprets a traditional and contemporary repertoire including great works of the Maestros and their own creations.
S H O W S
Pedro Chemes Quartet has
shown its works at The Argentine Theater of La Plata, Theater President
Alvear, Golden Hall the Secretariat of Culture of Buenos Aires city., National
Museum of Bellas Artes, Church of La Merced, National Academy of the Tango,
Sívori Museum, Museum Isaac Fernandez Blanco and in the National
Library.
L A S T R E C O R D E D A L B U M
Their last work, recorded in August. 1999, is called " TANGOS ". In it they played a varied repertoire. Songs of Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel and Di Sarli together with the ones they had been working in.
In this last disc Maria Chemes and Gustavo were invited to participate using their voices, and Fabian Keoroglanian in percussion.
" TANGOS " also included
the first video-clip of the group, called " Sobrevuelo ", of the song
written by PEDRO CHEMES.
