Day 1

- Transfer from Airport to Hotel in Puerto Madryn

Day 2

- Full day excursion to Peninsula Valdes
Thousands of tourists reach this point of the country from all round the world, eager to approach the giant cetaceans and obtaining “the photograph” of their jump or of their huge raised flukes. The contagious enthusiasm was transmitted to all the attendants. We were supplied waterproof coats and life jackets. The day was warm, the temperature pleasant, but the wind blowing from the East would announce that we would not fulfill our expectations. Anyway, we advanced into the deep and salty sea waters.
The right whales may be spotted from June to December, when they reach the Nuevo Gulf in order to mate or bear their calves.
We set off on the comfortable craft and did not take too long to see the first whale that approached us curiously.
- Return to your hotel in Puerto Madryn at around 6:30 pm.
Day 3
- Breakfast
- Full day excursion to Punta Tombo penguin rookery and the inferior valley of Chubut.
Punta Tombo is a paradise for other sea birds that have chosen this site to nest. Kelp gulls and dolphin gulls, skuas, two species of cormorants –the king cormorant and the rock shag-, steamerducks, snowy sheathbills, and several species of terns and giant petrels are the birds we could find nesting in the area.
The unusual concentration of bird fauna and the easy access for observation set up a show that is known worldwide. Therefore, we invite you to see this place just like we did. Enjoy.
